 What makes churrasco special? Also known as Brazilian barbecue, 19^th century horseback riders or gauchos who lived in rural areas had easy access to cattle.  They would roast the beef on skewers over an open fire which brought out the natural flavor of the mouthwatering meat.

Churrasco is traditionally enjoyed with a big number of people, gauchos would go around the tables where their friends and family are gathered, serving unlimited slabs of beef from the skewers.  This style of serving is called rodizio.

_Department of Tourism Approves Supplementary Accommodations _

With the recent awarding of the Safety Seal Certification, Century Park Hotel, one of the finest hotels in Manila, is pleased to announce that it has also been granted Multiple Use Hotel (MUH) status by the Department of Tourism (DOT).

Under the operational provisions of MUH, Century Park Hotel will continue to accept essential stays for health and emergency front liners, OFWs, returning residents, foreign nationals, and other individuals requiring quarantine. The hotel can also offer accommodations for participants in essential meetings & social events, long-staying guests, business guests, and other APORs (Authorized
Persons Outside Residence) in accordance with their official function or duty. Operations under MUH are subject to the prevailing community classification status for the City of Manila.

In line with the MUH status, essential meetings and social events will also be accepted.

2020 has been a tough year for all of us with the pandemic that is still going on, turning everyone’s lives upside down. Despite the predicament that we are facing, Filipinos still manifest that unrelenting spirit of resilience and optimism. It is that time of the year again! The lighting of the Giant Christmas Tree at the Atrium Lounge has been a tradition at the hotel for a long time. This magical ceremony led by the owner Dr. Lucio Tan and his wife Carmen Tan has been highly anticipated every year not only by its employees but also by every hotel goer.

The fabulous ornaments and decorations all over this masterpiece evoke that happy yuletide feeling making the Atrium Lounge ideal for merrymaking during this season. Carousel Productions, Inc. is the official pageant organizer from the Philippines who founded Miss Earth in 2001. The organization’s mission is to channel the international beauties as an effective tool in promoting environmental preservation and tourist locations around the world.
